JFK (1992)

TJ's Review

Today Marks the 50th anniversary of America's 35th President John F. Kennedy.

The movie JFK is based on Jim Garrison, A man so far to hold a trial in relation to the assassination of JFK. The movie has actual snippets of JFK and Lee Harvey Oswald (The Apparent 'Lone Assassin') as well as snippets of the Funeral and that dreadful day in 1963, but it does not show the dreadful shot to the presidents head, so the Gore level is to a minimum.

The movie is very long (about 3 hours) but it is very interesting for those interested in American history or the History of JFK.

The film is very good at keeping the whole 60's concept subject such as the furniture, clothing.

There are a fair few swear words in the film, which i didn't think had to be in the film.

Kevin Costner played a very good part in the film, as well as Gary Oldman who looked like a spitting image of Lee Harvey Oswald.

The movie overall is very good, it shows you all the Facts that Jim Garrison found and where he went to get them , how long it took him to get the facts and how Jim add them all together.
