Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert (2008)

Daniel's Review

With ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie’ winning the Pick of the Week last week, I thought it was suitably fitting to review the other theatrical ‘Hannah Montana’ motion picture.

‘Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert’ (it’s a mouthful) was the first digital 3D film I’ve seen in the theatres, yes, I saw this in the theatres back in 2008 and was actually an entertaining concert flick.

The movie offers behind-the-scenes footage of the concert tour, with Kenny Ortega (‘High School Musical’) directing the tour and this movie, with a lot of concert footage with some very catchy songs, and while I’m not a big fan of Miley’s recent songs (although I don’t mind “Wrecking Ball” if it is just the song, and not the music video), these songs are entertaining to listen too.

It’s been years since watching the television series, but “Best of Both Worlds” is super catchy and shockingly I still know some of the lyrics. Songs like "Nobody’s Perfect” and “Start All Over” are some very good songs, however “I Miss You” was the song that stood out as it was very emotional (as I’ve lost my Poppy, so it has become relatable now since seeing this flick all these many years ago) and very inspiring with a great message to anyone who has lost a loved one.

‘Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert’ is an entertaining flick that is dedicated to the ‘Hannah Montana’ fans.

Those dads in high heels cracked me up.
